EApps Development LLC — SafeGuard Application
Your privacy matters deeply to us. SafeGuard is a child safety application, and we hold ourselves to the highest standard of data privacy — especially regarding children. We never sell your data, never share it with advertisers, and never use it for any purpose beyond providing the SafeGuard service to you.
SafeGuard is developed and operated by EApps Development LLC ("EApps," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the SafeGuard mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at: eaappdev@gmail.com
When you create an account, we collect:
The core function of SafeGuard requires location data. We collect:
Location data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Only the parent and child accounts within the same linked family can access location data.
We store records of alerts generated by the Service, including:
We collect limited technical data to deliver push notifications and maintain Service functionality:
Subscription billing is handled by RevenueCat and Apple's App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card number, billing address, or other financial details. RevenueCat provides us with your subscription status (free, plus, or family tier) and anonymized subscription identifiers only. Please review RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle payment data.
We use the information we collect exclusively to provide and improve the SafeGuard Service:
We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing child safety services.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
Location data and alert data are shared between the parent and child accounts you have explicitly linked within the SafeGuard application. No data is shared with any other users.
We work with the following third-party service providers who access only the minimum data necessary to perform their services:
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of EApps Development, our users, or the public.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, user data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you before your personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
SafeGuard is designed for use by parents to monitor their minor children. The child-facing side of the application is operated under parental supervision and control.
SafeGuard complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations where applicable.
We retain your data only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service:
When you delete your account, we permanently delete all associated personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take every reasonable measure to protect your data.
You may access and update your account information at any time within the SafeGuard application settings.
You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Upon deletion, all associated personal data is permanently removed within 30 days. You may also contact us at eaappdev@gmail.com to request data deletion.
You control location permissions through your device's iOS settings. Disabling location access for the child app will prevent SafeGuard from delivering proximity and geofence alerts.
You can control which types of alerts you receive within the SafeGuard app Settings tab. Some notifications (such as SOS alerts) cannot be disabled as they are critical safety features.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion of your personal information, opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information), and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To exercise these rights, contact us at eaappdev@gmail.com.
The SafeGuard application or website may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as the App Store or NSOPW). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
Your continued use of SafeGuard after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us:
We will respond to all privacy inquiries within 72 hours.
